The representatives of The Palestinian and Lebanese parties of “the
Arab Left Forum” had an exceptional meeting. In it they discussed the
present political and security events, in the Arab world in general, and
in Lebanon in specific, and they arrived into the following
conclusions :
1- The representatives of The Palestinian and Lebanese parties of
“the Arab Left Forum” condemn the terrorist explosion that happened at
the southern suburb of Beirut in which 24 were killed and more than 400
were injured, in addition to the damages in the building, commercial
stores and cars. The representatives of The Palestinian and Lebanese
parties of “the Arab Left Meeting” see in this coward terrorist
explosion a continuous logical consequences of the collapse in the
governmental institutions, which is accompanied with the absence of
security and sectarian mobilization, that the political class, which is
ruling in Lebanon, use till it arrived the level of disorder. Such
actions benefit only the plans of the Israeli enemy and the United
States imperialism. They also see the need to secure Lebanon to face
terrorism and disorder. Also they assure that happens only through
facing the foreign, and mainly USA, interventions in the internal
affairs of Lebanon and working for “National Saving” conference, which
could be considered as establishing conference that puts the national
and constitutional bases for civil democratic resisting country.
2- The representatives of The Palestinian and Lebanese parties of
“the Arab Left Forum” greets the people of Egypt in their second
revolution for the sake of regaining their rights, dignity and the
national position in facing the Israeli - US project. Also they announce
their solidarity with confrontation which is taking place, since June,
for finishing the policies of “Muslims Brotherhood” and regaining the
national and the Arab role of Egypt. They, also, assure their support
for the national democratic program which was issued by the left and
national forces in Egypt to establish a civil democratic rule rewrite
new constitution for the country.
3- The representatives of The Palestinian and Lebanese parties of
“the Arab Left Forum” see that the “negotiations”, which is taking place
today between the Palestine’s authority and the Zionist enemy, under
Washington’s supervision, and settlement’s policy, are a dangerous
retreat in the rights of the people of Palestine, starting from the
right to return. They announce their refusal for such negotiations and
calling the people of Palestine to confront such forms of giving up,
which are prepared by John Kerry’s project, through the call of
Palestinian left, the national and progressive forces to take all forms
of resisting for the sake of liberating the Palestinian territories from
occupation and establishing the national Palestinian state, and
Jerusalem its capital.
4- They confirm their position toward the crisis in Syria, in
refusing all sorts of violence and terrorism. Calling for national
dialogue establishes for political solution, and the necessary reforms
on all levels. They renew their condemnation to all forms of
imperialistic and Arab backwardness interferences in the internal
affairs of Syria.
5- They agreed on keeping their meetings open and announcing their program for moves in this stage.
