Syria : Destruction

This picture made available by the Syrian opposition’s Shaam News Network allegedly shows destruction caused to the Khaled bin Walid mosque in the city of Homs. Bashar's army shelling destroyed the centuries-old mausoleum according to activists and a monitoring group. Reports of the destruction emerged as an intense army campaign to reclaim rebel-held areas of Homs entered its fourth week. 25th July  2013.
